Day by Day Itinerary.

Day 1. WELCOME TO COSTA RICA. Our Costa Rica adventure package start with your arrival to the International Airport Juan Santamaria. Upon arrival at the San Jose airport, you will be met by one of our representatives how will explain your itinerary, answer any questions and provide you with a package with vouchers and information about your trip. Transfer to Hotel Radisson and Check In.

Day 2.  PRIVATE TOUR ARENAL VOLCANO, FORTUNA WATERFALL & BALDI HOT SPRINGS. (B, L). Your breath-taking, Costa Rica adventure package begins with a pickup from your hotel and a relaxing private drive through the wonderful Costa Rican countryside on an air-conditioned transportation and recent model deluxe vehicle or minibus. Your guide will point out many sights of interest including coffee plantations, sugar cane and citrus plantations, diverse fruit stands and rural farming communities. You will be heading Fortuna Town, about 2 hours’ drive from San Jose. Once in Fortuna you will visit Fortuna Waterfall.

Located in the northern lowlands of Costa Rica, the impressive Arenal Volcano is a National Park that attracts thousands and thousands of tourists due to its beauty and recent past volcanic activity. Back in the 80´s the volcano was very active, but now has reduced its activity and we could say that it has entered a period of calm. However, the beauty of the Volcano and surroundings are just spectacular. Once in La Fortuna Town, a sightseeing tour will show you the highlights of the area and its rich diversity of tourist attractions, ecosystems, the lake, culture, customs & traditions of this emblematic town of Costa Rica.

The La Fortuna Waterfall is one of the best things to see when you come to the Arenal Area! You will love the hike down to this waterfall near the town of La Fortuna because you can see all the natural beauty of the rainforest as well as the birds and wildlife that live there. Once you arrive to the La Fortuna Waterfall, prepare to be blown away by the beauty of this impressive waterfall near the Arenal Volcano! You will also be able to swim and take amazing photos! This popular attraction on TripAdvisor’s “Top Things to do in La Fortuna” is great for the whole family.

Later, you will relax in one of the best thermal water places in the area: Baldi Hot Springs. At Baldi Hot Springs you will find an endless dreamed stay, where the natural environment, colorful natural gardens, therapeutic waters, pure air and our care combine on a perfect state; the dream came true. The unique frame where your experience turns into the most unforgettable one. In here you will enjoy multiple thermal pools, a giant stem room, luxury pool bars, Giant waterslides, relaxing areas and much more.

Upon arrival to Baldi Hot Springs, enjoy a delicious Buffet Lunch before to jump into the Thermal Pools. Lockers and Towels are included in our tours. At this paradise you will stay till 4:00 PM. After the hot springs transfer to Hotel Arenal Paraiso or similar in Fortuna Town. Dinner on your own.

Day 3. A FREESTYLE DAY IN ARENAL. (B). Customize your Costa Rica adventure package with the included tour of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary.

Day 4 MONTEVERDE BY VAN – BOAT – VAN (B). After breakfast, you will start the trip to the next destination: Monteverde. The van and boat trip is not a usual tour but feels like one. It is actually an alternative transportation method if you want to quickly travel from Arenal to Monteverde or backwards. This trip starts in La Fortuna and after a short jeep trajectory you will get to the Arenal Lake where a boat will take you to Chiquito River. From the boat you will be able to admire beautiful scenarios including the impressive view of the Arenal Volcano. In Chiquito River a jeep will take you to Monteverde. This transportation service saves time and it is very pleasant. Once at Monteverde, drop off at Hotel El Establo. Free time at leisure.

Day 5. FREESTAYLE DAY IN MONTEVERDE. (B). Customize your vacation with the included adventure of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary. Note: Some options are half day, others full day with lunch included.

Day 6. MONTEVERDE- TAMARINDO. (B) During the morning, you will be transferred to the beautiful beaches of Tamarindo in Guanacaste province. Tamarindo Beach is part of a bay formed by a cape, Cabo Velas (velas is Spanish for sails or sailfish). Playa Grande lies to the north of Tamarindo Beach inside the bay. The two beaches are separated by a natural saltwater estuary, Estero Tamarindo. South of Tamarindo Bay there is another beautiful estuary and beach, Playa Langosta.  Both Playa Grande and Playa Langosta are protected nesting areas for the giant leatherback turtle and are part of the Costa Rican National Park System. These beaches are the major nesting areas worldwide for the turtles, which arrive from October to March to lay their eggs. Tours led by official guides are available to take visitors to see this incredible spectacle. Another very special tour is the jungle boat ride. Small groups are ferried on locally built skiffs deep into the mysterious mangrove forest, where a breathtaking diversity of birds, mammals, and reptiles can be seen.

Upon arrival, check in at Hotel Wyndham Tamarindo or similar. Free time for enjoy the hotel facilities or the beach.

Day 7. FREESTAYLE DAY IN TAMARINDO BEACH (B). Customize your vacation with the included adventure of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary. Note:

Day 9 TAMARINDO – SAN JOSE (B). Morning: free time for enjoy the beach and hotel. Afternoon, Land transfer to San Jose. Upon arrival, check In at hotel Hotel Radisson.

Day 10. TRANSFER OUT. Transfer to the International Airport and Good Bye. End of our Costa Rica adventure package

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE: The shuttle bus is a service where a maximum of 6-7 passengers travel in the same vehicle and to the same destination. By this way, we reduce the price of the transfer service and can arrange more economical packages. The service is very good, door to door, with recent model vehicles, full insured and A/C.

TRAVEL DATES: You select the best date for you. All our options are available all year around and we just need your travel dates in order to check the hotel’s availability and arrange it.

HOW BIG THE GROUPS ARE: Our vacations are operated in an independent basis and you will not travel as part of a group unless you are part of a group. However, during the transfers and Daily Tours you will travel with other tourist we might have for that particular activity or service.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE A PACKAGE: Yes, you can use our packages as a base and make any change on it. We are very flexible. If these packages do not fit on your desired vacation, just send an email to us and we can prepare a new option for you.

AIRFARE IS NOT INCLUDED: All our options include the Land Portion only. Airfare must be on your own and indicate your arrival and departure dates to us in order to arrange the hotel’s bookings.

All inspected by our company’s owners and managers in order to guarantee an excellent service. AIRPORT TRANSFERS: All our packages include Airport – Hotel – Airport Transfers with a professional bilingual tour guide upon your flight arrival.

VOUCHERS & WECOME KIT: During the transfer service to your hotel, our tour guide will provide general information about your tour and give you a welcome kit with all the vouchers and documents you will need for your trip.

Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled trip, the deposit will be refunded. If cancellation is made 30-16 days, the entire 50% deposit is forfeited. If cancellation is made 14-1 days before scheduled trip, total deposit is forfeited.
