Day by Day Itinerary.

Day 1. ARRIVE IN SAN JOSE.  Our Affordable Costa Rica Vacation Package begins with your arrival to the International Airport Juan Santamaria. Upon arrival at the San Jose airport, you will be met by one of our representatives how will explain your itinerary, answer any questions, and provide you with a package of vouchers and information about your trip. Transfer to your hotel Radisson and free time at leisure.

Day 2.  TRANSFER TO ARENAL VOLCANO. (B). Breakfast at the hotel and morning transfer to Arenal Volcano area and La Fortuna Town. Enjoy along the way the beautiful landscape of Costa Rica countryside. Along the way, enjoy the different picturesque towns and some of the most common crops such as pineapple plantations, bananas, mangos, sugar cane and more.

Arriving to La Fortuna town by noon, check in at the cozy hotel La Pradera, with its impressive view of the Arenal Volcano. The hotel offers a beautiful swimming pool, enchanted rooms, a huge souvenir store and easy access to the Fortuna Town where you will find many bars and restaurants for your enjoyment.

Afternoon, free time for enjoy the area on your own.

Day 3. A FREESTYLE DAY IN ARENAL. (B). Customize your vacation with the included adventure of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary.

Day 4. ARENAL TO MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK. (B) Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific Coast. Arriving at Hotel Costa Verde by middle afternoon, you will have the chance to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and relax in the swimming pool. Free evening. Lunch and dinner on your own.

Day 5. MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK NATURE WALK  TOUR (B). The Manuel Antonio specialist brings you the privilege of experiencing Costa Rica’s main tourist attraction, the Manuel Antonio National Park. Go on a lovely expedition with a highly trained, well-educated Costa Rican naturalist guide, that will show you the treasures living in the park. Come and enjoy the 33-year-old exotic, bio-diverse tropical rainforest that Manuel Antonio National Park offers.

The pace of this adventure is determined by your group’s abilities and interests, and you will stop and observe the abundance of wildlife there is in the park – all in its natural and breathtaking habitat. Your guide will show you many different species living in the park, such as sloths and numerous species of monkey’s travel through the tree canopy, playing with each other and searching for insects and tropical fruits to eat. You will also be able to see several types of reptiles resting in the tropical rainforest that you are in the middle of. While enjoying your surroundings you can listen to the songs of the various birds as they glide above your group, curiously looking for adventure. On this 2 ½ – hour nature walk you will see infinitely many different kinds of flora and fauna. Your experienced guide will help you to spot this easily missed wildlife and set a telescope for you to admire them as if they were right in front of you, and even take pictures through it.

The tour includes a stop where you will get to enjoy some local fresh fruits and refreshments as you soak in the beautiful esthetics. When you now have some new energy in your body and your guided educational adventure has ended, you are free to explore more of what Manuel Antonio National Park has to offer. You can take an additional hike on the forest trails or to enjoy unspoiled, un-crowded, pristine beaches – your choice.

Day 6. MANUEL ANTONIO.  Free time. Enjoy the best of Manuel Antonio on your own or explore the area with an additional tour.

Day 7. MANUEL ANTONIO TO SAN JOSE. During the morning, a great opportunity for explore the surroundings on your own and enjoy the beach. After lunch, transfer to San Jose. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel Radisson and fee time.

Day 8. TRANSFER OUT.  (B) Our Affordable Costa Rica Vacation Package comes to its end. Transfer to the International Airport according with your schedules flight and Good bye.

DEPARTURE DATES: All our options are available all year around and we just need your travel dates in order to check the hotel’s availability and arrange it.

HOW BIG THE GROUPS ARE: Our vacations are operated in an independent basis and you will not travel as part of a group unless you are part of a group. However, during the transfers and Daily Tours you will travel with other tourist we might have for that particular activity or service.

HOW TO RESERVE THIS PACKAGE: Please send an email to info@greenwaytours.com with as much as information you can about your desired vacation, number of participants, arrival dates, name of the package you are interested on and any other special requirements. Once you receive our confirmation form, a 20% deposit is due. Full payment due 60 days prior to departure.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE A PACKAGE: Yes, you can use our packages as a base and make any change on it. We are very flexible. If these packages do not fit on your desired vacation, just send an email to us and we can prepare a new option for you.

AIRFARE IS NOT INCLUDED: All our options includes the Land Portion only. Airfare must be on your own and indicate your arrival and departure dates to us in order to arrange the hotel’s bookings.

HOTEL CATEGORIES: All the hotels used by Greenway Tours had been selected considering the best standards of quality and service. Our Hotels are between 3 and 5 stars. All inspected by our company’s owners and managers in order to guarantee an excellent service. At least 50% of our lodging contractors had been certified as Green Companies by the Costa Rican Tourist Board (Certification in Sustainable Tourism CST).

Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled trip, the deposit will be refunded. If cancellation is made 30-16 days, the entire 50% deposit is forfeited. If cancellation is made 14-1 days before scheduled trip, total deposit is forfeited.
