Day by Day Itinerary.

Day 1. ARRIVE IN SAN JOSE.  Arrival to the International Airport Juan Santamaria. Upon arrival at the San Jose airport, you will be met by one of our representatives how will explain your itinerary, answer any questions and provide you with a package of vouchers and information about your trip. Transfer to Hotel Radisson and free time at leisure.

Day 2.  PRIVATE TOUR ARENAL VOLCANO, FORTUNA WATERFALL & BALDI HOT SPRINGS. (B, L). Your breath-taking, adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel and a relaxing private drive through the wonderful Costa Rican countryside on an air-conditioned transportation and recent model deluxe vehicle or minibus. Your guide will point out many sights of interest including coffee plantations, sugar cane and citrus plantations, diverse fruit stands and rural farming communities. You will be heading Fortuna Town, about 2 hours’ drive from San Jose. Once in Fortuna you will visit Fortuna Waterfall.

Located in the northern lowlands of Costa Rica, the impressive Arenal Volcano is a National Park that attracts thousands and thousands of tourists due to its beauty and recent past volcanic activity. Back in the 80´s the volcano was very active, but now has reduced its activity and we could say that it has entered a period of calm. However, the beauty of the Volcano and surroundings are just spectacular. Once in La Fortuna Town, a sightseeing tour will show you the highlights of the area and its rich diversity of tourist attractions, ecosystems, the lake, culture, customs & traditions of this emblematic town of Costa Rica.

The La Fortuna Waterfall is one of the best things to see when you come to the Arenal Area! You will love the hike down to this waterfall near the town of La Fortuna because you can see all the natural beauty of the rainforest as well as the birds and wildlife that live there. Once you arrive to the La Fortuna Waterfall, prepare to be blown away by the beauty of this impressive waterfall near the Arenal Volcano! You will also be able to swim and take amazing photos! This popular attraction on TripAdvisor’s “Top Things to do in La Fortuna” is great for the whole family.

Later, you will relax in one of the best thermal water places in the area: Baldi Hot Springs. At Baldi Hot Springs you will find an endless dreamed stay, where the natural environment, colorful natural gardens, therapeutic waters, pure air and our care combine on a perfect state; the dream came true. The unique frame where your experience turns into the most unforgettable one. In here you will enjoy multiple thermal pools, a giant stem room, luxury pool bars, Giant waterslides, relaxing areas and much more.

Upon arrival to Baldi Hot Springs, enjoy a delicious Buffet Lunch before to jump into the Thermal Pools. Lockers and Towels are included in our tours. At this paradise you will stay till 4:00 PM. After the hot springs transfer to Hotel Arenal Paraiso or similar in Fortuna Town. Dinner on your own.

Day 3. FREE STYLE DAY IN ARENAL (B) Customize your vacation with the included adventure of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary. Note: Some options are half day, others full day with lunch included.

Day 4. ARENAL TO TAMARINDO BEACH. (B) Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to the beautiful Tamarindo Beach on the Pacific Coast. Arriving at Wyndham Tamarindo Hotel by middle afternoon, you will have the chance to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and relax in the swimming pool or the beach. Free evening.

Day 5. FREE STYLE DAY IN TAMARINDO.  (B) Customize your vacation with the included adventure of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary.

Day 6. TAMARINDO.  (B) Free time.

Day 7. TAMARINDO TO SAN JOSE.  (B) During the morning, a great opportunity for explore the surroundings on your own and enjoy the beach. By Noon Hotel Check Out and transfer to San Jose. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel Radisson

Day 8. TRANSFER OUT.  (B) Transfer to the International Airport according with your schedules flight and Good bye.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE: The shuttle bus is a service where a maximum of 6-7 passengers travel in the same vehicle and to the same destination. By this way, we reduce the price of the transfer service and can arrange more economical packages. The service is very good, door to door, with recent model vehicles, full insured and A/C.

DEPARTURE DATES: All our options are available all year around and we just need your travel dates in order to check the hotel’s availability and arrange it.

HOW BIG THE GROUPS ARE: Our vacations are operated in an independent basis and you will not travel as part of a group unless you are part of a group. However, during the transfers and Daily Tours you will travel with other tourist we might have for that particular activity or service.

HOW TO RESERVE THIS PACKAGE: Please send an email to info@greenwaytours.com with as much as information you can about your desired vacation, number of participants, arrival dates, name of the package you are interested on and any other special requirements. Once you receive our confirmation form, a 20% deposit is due. Full payment due 45 days prior to departure.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE A PACKAGE: Yes, you can use our packages as a base and make any change on it. We are very flexible. If these packages do not fit on your desired vacation, just send an email to us and we can prepare a new option for you.

AIRFARE IS NOT INCLUDED: All our options includes the Land Portion only. Airfare must be on your own and indicate your arrival and departure dates to us in order to arrange the hotel’s bookings.

All inspected by our company’s owners and managers in order to guarantee an excellent service. Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled trip, the deposit will be refunded. If cancellation is made 30-16 days, the entire 50% deposit is forfeited. If cancellation is made 14-1 days before scheduled trip, total deposit is forfeited.
