Costa Rica Honeymoon Package description: To travel to Costa Rica is an opportunity to escape the stress and tedium of the daily world and discover a country proud of its ecological preservation. This package combines nature and adventure beaches & rainforest for an unforgettable experience.

In 14 days, we will show you the vast richness of the country’s natural wealth: San Jose, Capital City; Tortuguero whose canals are one of the world’s most popular ecotourism destinations; Tortuguero Park, Sarapiqui, Arenal Volcano and Quepos, a great beach and home to Manuel Antonio National Park.

Day 1. WELCOME TO COSTA RICA.  Arrival to the International Airport Juan Santamaria. Upon arrival at the San Jose airport, you will be met by one of our representatives how will explain your itinerary, answer any questions and provide you with a packet of vouchers and information about your trip. Transfer to Hotel Radison or similar and free time at leisure.

Day 2. TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK (B, L, D) Our exclusive journey to Tortuguero from San Jose is an amazing experience where you will enjoy a pleasant bus transfer to Guapiles Town. Along the way, admire the pristine rainforest of the Braulio Carrillo National Park and Biosphere Reserve declared by UNESCO in 1988. Crystal clear rivers and beautiful waterfalls will be part of the landscape that you can enjoy during this short transfer. Once in Guapiles Town, a stop will be made to enjoy a delicious typical breakfast. Continuing the journey through the lower parts of the Costa Rican Caribbean, crossing extensive plantations of bananas, pineapple, cocoa and other agricultural products common in the area, we will reach Caño Blanco, an area of rivers and lagoons where a boat awaits us and will take us to deeper in the jungle and our final destination Tortuguero.

The boat trip will take about 90 minutes and it will be a one-in-a lifetime experience surrounded by a great variety of flora and fauna. Upon arrival to Pachira Lodge, enjoy a refreshing cocktail and a delicious Lunch. After you get your room, get comfortable for explore the area and visit the museum, the beach area and the small and picturesque town of Tortuguero. A delightful dinner will be served upon arrival to the lodge.

Day 3. TORTUGUERO (B, L, D). Discover Costa Rican flavors as you enjoy breakfast at PACHIRA LODGE.  Get ready to hike Tortuguero Hill or travel along the well-known Tortuguero Canals and have the experience of your life in this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna. After the tour, Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. During the afternoon, take your time to enjoy our private trails, ride a boat through the canals or just relax. Dinner at the hotel. OPTIONAL NIGHT TOUR: Walk on the beach and admire the green turtles nesting (July through September).

Day 4. ARENAL VOLCANO (B, L). After breakfast hotel check out and departure to our next destination. On the middle of the way and after lunch, you will meet your private transportation and proceed overland to Arenal Volcano. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel Arenal Paraiso. Free time.

Day 5- 6. FREESTYLE DAY IN ARENAL. (B). Customize your vacation with the included adventure of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary.

– Lake Arenal kayaking. An adventure experience in the calm waters of Lake Arenal by kayak

Day 7. MONTEVERDE (B). After breakfast hotel check out and departure to our next destination: Monteverde. A journey along small towns, Arenal´s Lake and rainforest will take you to the magical town of Santa Elena and Monteverde. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel Fonda Vela. Free time.

Day 8. FREESTAYLE DAY IN MONTEVERDE. (B). Customize your vacation with the included adventure of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary.

Upon arrival, check in at Hotel Costa Verde or similar and free time for enjoy the hotel’s facilities. Evening: Free time for explore the rich nightlife of Manuel Antonio and have dinner in one of the great restaurants of the area. Lunch and dinner not included.

Day 10. FREESTAYLE DAY IN MANUEL ANTONIO. (B). Customize your vacation with the included adventure of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary.

Day 11-12. MANUEL ANTONIO BEACH (B) This day our Costa Rica Honeymoon Package have a free time. Optional tours available.

Day 13. SAN JOSE (B). Morning free time for enjoy the beach or the hotel’s swimming pool. Afternoon, Hotel Check Out and transfer to San Jose. Upon arrival Hotel check in and free time.  Lunch and dinner not included. Overnight at Hotel Radisson.

Day 14. (B) – Transfer to the International Airport according with your schedules flight and Goodbye. End of services for our Costa Rica Honeymoon Package.

NOT INCLUDED: International air fare, airport departure taxes, meals not specified in the itinerary, alcoholic beverages, personal equipment, extras in hotels (laundry, phone calls, and room service), gratuities, or costs associated with changes in your itinerary for reasons beyond our control.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE: The shuttle bus is a service where a maximum of 6-7 passengers travel in the same vehicle and to the same destination. By this way, we reduce the price of the transfer service and can arrange more economical packages. The service is very good, door to door, with recent model vehicles, full insured and A/C.

DEPARTURE DATES: All our options are available all year around and we just need your travel dates in order to check the hotel’s availability and arrange it.

HOW BIG THE GROUPS ARE: Our vacations are operated in an independent basis and you will not travel as part of a group unless you are part of a group. However, during the transfers and Daily Tours you will travel with other tourist we might have for that particular activity or service.

HOW TO RESERVE THIS PACKAGE: Please send an email to info@greenwaytours.com with as much as information you can about your desired vacation, number of participants, arrival dates, name of the package you are interested on and any other special requirements. Once you receive our confirmation form, a 20% deposit is due. Full payment due 45 days prior to departure.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE A PACKAGE: Yes, you can use our packages as a base and make any change on it. We are very flexible. If these packages do not fit on your desired vacation, just send an email to us and we can prepare a new option for you.

AIRFARE IS NOT INCLUDED: All our options includes the Land Portion only. Airfare must be on your own and indicate your arrival and departure dates to us in order to arrange the hotel’s bookings.

HOTEL CATEGORIES: All the hotels used by Greenway Tours had been selected considering the best standards of quality and service. Our Hotels are between 3 and 5 stars. All inspected by our company’s owners and managers in order to guarantee an excellent service. At least 50% of our lodging contractors had been certified as Green Companies by the Costa Rican Tourist Board (Certification in Sustainable Tourism CST).

AIRPORT TRANSFERS: All our packages include Airport – Hotel – Airport Transfers with a professional bilingual tour guide upon your flight arrival.

VOUCHERS & WECOME KIT: During the transfer service to your hotel, our tour guide will provide general information about your tour and give you a welcome kit with all the vouchers and documents you will need for your trip.

Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled trip, the deposit will be refunded. If cancellation is made 30-16 days, the entire 50% deposit is forfeited. If cancellation is made 14-1 days before scheduled trip, total deposit is forfeited.
