Expedition Essentials (What to Bring)

To ensure your absolute comfort during your sanctuary visit, we recommend bringing:

• Footwear: Comfortable closed-toe walking shoes, sturdy sneakers, or secure walking sandals. (Note: To protect the animals from external pathogens, touching or wearing open shoes in certain specific bio-secure corridors might be restricted).
• Clothing: Lightweight, breathable t-shirt, comfortable shorts or fresh cotton pants, and a light raincoat or poncho just in case of a brief tropical shower.
• Protection: Cap or sun hat, sunglasses, and eco-friendly mosquito repellent. (Note: Sunscreen or repellent should not be worn if you are participating in any rare approved close-contact zones to protect animal skin health).
• Extras: Camera or smartphone fully charged for outstanding wildlife portrait photography (No flash photography allowed), a reusable water bottle, and extra cash for souvenirs at the local JRC shop or gratuities.
