Puntarenas Buggy Tour Shore Excursion:

Your breath-taking adventure begins with a pickup from the pier and a relaxing drive through the wonderful Costa Rican countryside on an air-conditioned transportation and recent model deluxe vehicle or minibus. Your guide will point out many sights of interest including mango, coffee, sugar and citrus plantations, diverse fruit stands and rural farming communities. You will be heading to the Central Pacific Coast, Tarcoles River and Vista Los Sueños Adventure Park, until arrives to our private property, about 75 minutes’ drive from Puntarenas Pier. Upon arrival to our beautiful property, you will have some free time for use restrooms and explore the surroundings before to start the adventure.

In our adventure center, before you begin your journey, you will receive instructions and then take a test run on our specially designed private track. From here on, your guide will lead you along the jungle trails, crossing rivers sometimes-bumpy, dirt paths real rainforest, viewpoints and 1 waterfall.

If weather allowing, you can take a quick swim at the waterfall, where you will have a break. During the tour, your guide will provide bottled water, and at the end of this Costa Rica Buggy adventure, we will greet you with fresh tropical fruits. The Buggy driving time last 2 hours.

After this great adventure, our tour will continue with a short drive to Tarcoles River and Jungle Crocodile Safari, where a 60 minutes eco boat tour will allow you to enjoy the abundant wildlife of the area, including the huge crocodiles, multiple aquatic birds, scarlet macaws, howler monkeys and other amazing tropical species.

After these two great adventures, return to the pier. Upon arrival, you can decide to stay in the city or make your way back directly to the ship. For all those interested in walking along the boulevards, the pier is located right at the city at a very short distance from your ship. So, no worries for an easy return.

NOTES: The BUGGYS are for share and this tour require a minimum of 2 people. We have Buggys for 2,4 or 6 passengers

It is mandatory to have a valid driving license (driver) and present a valid credit card as a guarantee for the well use of the equipment. Maximum weigh for companions 180 pounds. Prices are per person and sharing 1 Buggy. Single travelers will be assigned ATV instead.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Tour include: Round trip transportation from Puntarenas or Puerto Caldera piers, bilingual guides, fruits, water, 2 hours Buggy drive and 1 hour boat tour in Tarcoles River.

What To Bring: Shorts, cotton shirt, Camera, Hat or cap, Tennis, sandals or shoes waterproof, Sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, Swimsuit, Towel, extra clothes and extra money for personal expenses.

Tour Meeting Time:  30 Minutes After Ship Arrival (Earliest tour 8:00 AM) We operate all our tours accordingly with the ship arrival. We know sometimes the ships are running late OR early. For this reason, we have our pickup 30 minutes after the ship arrival. First departure 08:00 AM

Meeting Place: Main entrance of the pier. In there you will see our tour guides holding a sign with your name. We do not pick up INSIDE the pier.

Arrival Ports: Puntarenas or Puerto Caldera. Our tours are operated from the port the cruise ship arrives. Do not worry about it. We will be at any port.
