Our Rainforest Horseback Riding and Crocodile Safari Boat tour from Puntarenas is just amazing. Your breath-taking adventure begins with a pickup from the pier and a relaxing private drive through the wonderful Costa Rican countryside on an air-conditioned transportation and recent model minibus. Your guide will point out many sights of interest including mango, coffee, sugar and citrus plantations, diverse fruit stands and rural farming communities. You will be heading to the Central Pacific Coast, Tarcoles River and Vista Los Sueños Adventure Park. Upon arrival to our beautiful property, you will have some free time for use restrooms and explore the surroundings before to start the adventure.

As you saddle up on your gentle steed, the journey unfolds along well-maintained trails, revealing the rich biodiversity of the rainforest. The guides share captivating insights into the flora and fauna.

Upon arrival at the natural swimming pool area, you will have some time to relax and enjoy the water and beautiful surroundings. You’ll traverse streams, navigate through verdant foliage, and discover secluded spots that showcase the natural beauty of Costa Rica. This immersive experience provides a unique perspective, allowing you to connect with the rainforest in a meaningful and unforgettable way. At the end of your journey, we will greet you with fresh tropical fruits.

During your Costa Rica horseback adventure, our professional photographers will capture the best moments and have them available for purchase at the end of your tour.

After this great adventure, our tour will continue with a short drive to Tarcoles River, where a 60 minutes Jungle Crocodile Sarari eco boat tour will allow you to enjoy the abundant wildlife of the area, including the huge crocodiles, multiple aquatic birds, scarlet macaws, howler monkeys and other amazing tropical species.

After these two great adventures, return to the pier. Upon arrival, you can decide to stay in the city or make your way back directly to the ship. For all those interested in walking along the boulevards, the pier is located right at the city at a very short distance from your ship. So, no worries for an easy return.

Horseback Riding & Jungle Crocodile Safari include: Round trip transportation from Puntarenas or Puerto Caldera piers, bilingual guides, insurance, safety equipment, fruits, water, breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and 1 hour boat tour in Tarcoles River.

What To Bring: Long pants, water shoes or strap on sandals, tennis shoes, swimwear, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and money for extra expenses.

Tour Meeting Time:  30 Minutes After Ship Arrival (Earliest tour 8:00 AM)

Meeting Place: Main entrance of the pier. In there you will see our tour guides holding a sign with your name. We do not pick up INSIDE the pier.

Arrival Ports: Puntarenas or Puerto Caldera. Our tours are operated from the port the cruise ship arrives. Do not worry about it. We will be at any port.

We operate all our tours accordingly with the ship arrival. We know sometimes the ships are running late OR early. For this reason, we have our pick up 30 minutes after the ship arrival. First departure 08:00 AM
