Puntarenas Zipline Canopy Tour Description:

Your breath-taking adventure begins with a pickup from the pier and a relaxing private drive through the wonderful Costa Rican countryside on an air-conditioned transportation and recent model minibus. Your guide will point out many sights of interest including mango, coffee, sugar and citrus plantations, diverse fruit stands and rural farming communities. You will be heading to the Central Pacific Coast, Tarcoles River and Vista Los Sueños Adventure Park. Upon arrival to our beautiful property, you will have some free time for use restrooms and explore the surroundings before to start the adventure.

Embark on an exhilarating adventure through the lush Costa Rican rainforest on our Zip Line Canopy Tour, gliding from platform to platform along a series of sturdy cables. Surrounded by vibrant tropical rainforests, you’ll experience a unique perspective on the diverse ecosystem below.

Our property boasts spectacular views of Herradura Bay and Island and the Nicoya Gulf. Within the property, you might get to see scarlet macaws, chestnut mandible toucans, and whiteface monkeys in their natural environment.

Professional guides ensure your safety and provide fascinating insights into the rich biodiversity, starting with a 15-minute ride aboard our specially designed tractor. Once we reach the top of the mountain, we will explain step-by-step all the safety procedures you must follow. We then descend to the bottom via a series of zip lines, including 12 platforms and 10 cables with a total cable distance of 3.5 kilometers, among them the longest cable in the area (2400 ft.).

At the end, we will greet you with fresh tropical fruits and cool water.

This zipline tour promises an unforgettable blend of excitement and natural beauty, offering a truly immersive experience in the heart of Costa Rica’s stunning rainforest.

Along the way, our professional photographers will capture the best pictures of your adventure and will have them available for purchase at the end of the tour.

The zip line portion includes 15 minutes tractor ride to the top of the hill, 10 cables and 12 platforms.

After this great adventure flying around the treetops, our tour will continue with a short drive to Tarcoles River and Jungle Crocodile Safari property, where a 60 minutes eco boat tour will allow you to enjoy the abundant wildlife of the area, including the huge crocodiles, multiple aquatic birds, scarlet macaws, howler monkeys and other amazing tropical species.

Finalized these two great adventures, return to the pier. Upon arrival, you can decide to stay in the city or make your way back directly to the ship. For all those interested in walking along the boulevards, the pier is located right at the city at a very short distance from your ship. So, no worries for an easy return.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Tour include: Round trip transportation from Puntarenas or Puerto Caldera piers, bilingual guides, fruits, water, 2 hours zip line experience and 1 hour boat tour in Tarcoles River.

What To Bring: Shorts or long pants, T-shirt, Camera, Hat or cap, Tennis or close shoes (no sandals), Sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent and extra money for personal expenses.

Tour Meeting Time:  30 Minutes After Ship Arrival (Earliest tour 8:00 AM) We operate all our tours accordingly with the ship arrival. We know sometimes the ships are running late OR early. For this reason, we have our pickup 30 minutes after the ship arrival. First departure 08:00 AM

Meeting Place: Main entrance of the pier. In there you will see our tour guides holding a sign with your name. We do not pick up INSIDE the pier.

Arrival Ports: Puntarenas or Puerto Caldera. Our tours are operated from the port the cruise ship arrives. Do not worry about it. We will be at any port.
