Immerse yourself in an authentic paradise of biodiversity with our tour to Heliconias Rainforest Lodge, a private rainforest reserve nestled beautifully between the Tenorio and Miravalles volcanoes. This hidden gem offers visitors staying in Guanacaste the unique opportunity to escape the coastal dry forest and step into a lush, high-altitude tropical rainforest. The crown jewel of this biological sanctuary is its extraordinary circuit of hanging bridges, majestically suspended high above the jungle canopy, offering breathtaking panoramic views that stretch all the way to Lake Nicaragua and the imposing Tenorio Volcano.
Accompanied by an expert bilingual naturalist guide, you will hike scenic trails teeming with wildlife, where you have exceptionally high chances of spotting two- and three-toed sloths, white-faced and howler monkeys, exotic frogs, and a dazzling array of tropical birds and toucans. This is a peaceful, educational, and deeply memorable walk, perfect for nature photography enthusiasts, birdwatchers, and families looking to experience the true “green lung” of the region.
