Transportation from hotel to hotel, small units and excellent customer service strengthen the aim of offering a high-quality service at low prices, providing an efficient, easy, safe and comfortable way of transportation for all customers.

The units are monitored by GPS, and their team of drivers enjoys their work. The drivers and units are always clearly identified with the companies ‘logo, so you will always will travel safe.

In addition, Costa Rica Shuttle bus service is proud to be 100% carbon neutral, offsetting all carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of our units, participating in reforestation and natural regeneration projects through the National Forestry Financing Fund of Costa Rica (FONAFIFO), obtaining Environmental Sustainability certification (CSA), offering a responsible and balanced travel with our environment.

Service Policies:

• NO SHOW. All NO SHOW will have a 100% charge.

• The baggage allowance per person is one suitcase, plus one piece of hand luggage.

• Interbus is not responsible for loss or damage to hand luggage, this does not include luggage accommodated in the area designated for suitcases. For non-hand luggage, a luggage stub will be given to the passenger.

• Interbus is not responsible for items lost or forgotten in our transport units.

• All transfers include at least one 20-minute rest stop for passengers and driver. This stop is for rest, connection point or change of vehicle.

• All children under 12 years old pay 50% of the adult rate. All children under 8 years of age must travel in a baby or booster seat, these are available at no cost and must be requested at the time of making the reservation.

• Pets are not transported, guide dogs accompanied by their blind owner are accepted.

• Interbus is not responsible for changes in ferry departure times, as well as accidents and/or loss of luggage during the ferry trip.

• Interbus reserves the right to modify or cancel any service due to force majeure such as: strikes, weather conditions, war or local guerrillas, popular demonstrations, natural disasters or terrorist acts.

• In case of legal conflicts between the client and Interbus, both parties undertake to follow the guidelines of the legal jurisdiction of the Republic of Costa Rica

• Surfboards are transported with a charge of $15 of maximum 6 feet, subject to availability.

• The transport of additional luggage is not included in the rate, and must be notified at the time of making the reservation. The fee will be $15 per piece, subject to availability.

Cancellations and Modifications: you can cancel or modify services already reserved and the following conditions apply:

a. Cancellations received up to 72 hours before the travel date, there is no charge.
b. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before the reservation, 50% charge.
c. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the reservation, 100% charge.
d. Modifications of day or time traveling on the same route, received up to 2 days before the travel date, there is no charge, but they are subject to availability.
and. Modifications of day or time, but traveling on the same route, received less than 2 days before the travel date will have an additional charge of 30% of the confirmed rate and are subject to availability.
